Hey, I’m Cayman! Originally from the Upper Midwest, I moved to Olympia, WA, in 2013, chasing the mountains I’d always dreamed of. Growing up, I learned the importance of being reliable and kind—and I bring that into every shoot. The Pacific Northwest has a way of making you fall in love with nature—the fog in the evergreens, the snow on the old-growth trees—it is like home now.

My photography journey started with adventures shared with my wife, Kat. In 2020, we took more trips than usual, and I started sharing photos from those outings. One thing led to another, and soon I was photographing my first local bike race. That led to even more opportunities, and today, I’m one of the main photographers for the Cascadia Dirt Cup. What began as a hobby turned into a career I’m incredibly grateful for.

It wasn’t until I photographed a close friend's elopement at Deception Pass that I realized I’d found one of my true callings: capturing rare, once-in-a-lifetime moments that can’t be recreated. Since then, I’ve embraced photographing weddings and elopements, focusing on those real, unposed moments—the quiet connection between two people or the raw beauty of an adventure. I believe in preserving every moment, big and small, so you’ll have something authentic to look back on.

For me, it’s all about telling your story in a way that feels honest and true. I don’t love heavy directing or posing; I prefer to let things unfold naturally and be there to capture them as they happen.
